 Dodford First is proud to offer Sports Premium, designed to help our primary pupils benefit from high-quality physical education and sport opportunities. This funding supports improvements to teaching, participation, and access to a wider range of activities, so children can build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy being active.

We use Sports Premium to strengthen our sports provision across the school. This includes enhancing PE delivery, providing specialist support where appropriate, and ensuring pupils can take part in structured lessons and inclusive extra-curricular activities. Our focus is on raising standards in PE while encouraging more children to take part regularly, including those who may be less confident in sport.

We also aim to broaden pupils’ experiences through events, competitions, and enrichment opportunities that promote teamwork, resilience, and fair play. Parents can be reassured that our approach is carefully planned and monitored, with clear goals for impact on participation and outcomes for children at Dodford First.
